Born in 1980 in Morlaix, Brittany, Tanguy Destable listens to his first Rock and Hip-Hop bands with skateboards buddies in the early 90′s. His first band “Abstrackt keal Agram” is a mix of his teenage influences like Beastie Boys, Nirvana, Snoop Dogg, Daft Punk, Aphex Twin… After three Abstract Hip-Hop albums he decides to go solo as Tepr and releases a first LP in 2003 where his quiet Electronica starts to mess with club beats.
Three albums later he joins Yelle and GrandMarnier in 2005 to play keys on stage and to co-produce the singer’s songs in the studio. After a worldwide tour with Yelle and numerous remixes for Yelle, Santigold, Laroux, Calvin Harris, he takes a break on solo producing to work on Yelle’s second album with GrandMarnier. September 2010 is the birth of his website http://www.tepr.net/ where he gives a track and a mix per month to the subscribers. A cool and nice way to stay in touch with the fans before some more official releases.

Né en 1980 à Morlaix en Bretagne, Tanguy Destable découvre la musique avec la culture skate au début des années 90. Son premier groupe, Abstrackt Keal Agram, est un cocktail des influences qui l’ont marqué en tant qu’adolescent. Beastie Boys, Nirvana, Snoop Dogg, Daft Punk, Aphex Twin et bien d’autres ne quitteront pas le walkman du bagpacker entre 1995 et 2000. Suivent trois albums dans une veine Abstract Hip-Hop/Electronica, Tanguy part en solo sous le nom de Tepr et sort un premier album en 2003, orientant ses mélodies électroniques vers les pistes de danse. Après trois albums solos et une poignée de maxis, il rencontre Yelle et GrandMarnier en 2005 qui l’invitent sur scène en tant que clavier et en studio pour co-produire les titres de la chanteuse.
S’en suit l’album “Pop Up” et une tournée mondiale. Après plusieurs remixes à son compte pour Yelle, Santigold, Laroux, Calvin Harris, Martin Solveig et quelques autres, il décide de faire une pause pour travailler sur le deuxième album de Yelle. Septembre 2010 voit la naissance du site http://www.tepr.net/ où chaque mois seront disponibles un nouveau morceau inédit ainsi qu’un mini mix en attendant une véritable sortie d’album dans le futur.
